The Linguistics Student Org will host an info session on their trip to the Linguistics Society of America annual meeting in January 2025!
Over winter break, LSO took a trip to the Linguistics Society of America conference, one of the largest & most prestigious linguistics conferences, funded by a grant from Associate Students of Madison! Both undergraduate and graduate students attended the conference. It was the second time the LSO has organized a group trip, and it was a great success. All of the students who took part in the trip will share about their experiences and what they learned! Students of all levels and departments are invited to attend this info session if you are interested in learning more about academic conferences, linguistics research, or if you are considering coming on the trip next year.
