Erika double-majored in Linguistics and German while an undergrad at UW-Madison. She went on to get an MA in Linguistics at UW-Madison, and did her Ph.D. at Northwestern. She is currently an Assistant Professor and Director of the Auditory Brain Research Lab at the University of Connecticut, where she studies auditory processing.
