Linguistics course in Badger Precollege Program

Language Sciences will be offering a Badger Summer Scholars course as part of the Badger Precollege program – giving high school students from across the U.S. and the world an opportunity to explore college life on the UW–Madison campus this summer.

The course is Human Language and Identity, which will run for 3 weeks from July 3-15, 2022.

The Badger Precollege program allows high school students to take non-credit classes in a variety of academic areas, which this year will include Linguistics! There is a focus on career exploration, and approximately 20% of students receive scholarships.
