Research Interests: Phonetics/phonology, language variation and change, historical linguistics
Teaching Experience: Lecturer for Linguistics 101 and 211, TA for Linguistics 101 and English 100.
Other work experience: Editorial assistant for the Papers of the Algonquian Conference, “Student- and public-facing Wisconsin language resources” project assistant
Awards: Recipient of the UW-Madison Graduate School Fellowship 2018-2019.
Conference Presentations: Sarah has presented research at multiple conferences, including the Linguistic Society of America, the Algonquian Conference, the Philological Society, and MidPhon.
Bio: Prior to coming to UW-Madison, Sarah graduated with a BA in Linguistics from Northwestern University and worked at the Aphasia and Neurolinguistics Research Lab at Northwestern. Her current research focuses on t-glottalization in American English.
