Awards: Recipient of the UW-Madison Graduate School Fellowship 2022-2023.

Conference Presentations: Emily has presented her research at the Comparative Studies
Student Association Conference and the Southeastern Conference on Linguistics.

Teaching Experience: Emily has been a Teaching Assistant and the instructor for
Introduction to Linguistics and Global Perspectives on English at Florida Atlantic University, as well as TA for Linguistics 101 and English 100 at UW-Madison.

Other Info About Emily: Emily received her ESL certificate and master’s degree in
Linguistics at Florida Atlantic University after completing her bachelor’s degree in Dance at Ball
State University. When Emily is not in school, she is most likely in a dance class or sitting
outside with a book.
